Born in 1977, Mathieu Boisadan is a French painter who lives and works in Strasbourg. He teaches painting there at the Haute école des arts du Rhin, where he has run the "Peinture partout" workshop since 2017. The same year he was awarded the Prix Marin. His work has been the subject of several solo exhibitions since 2011 at Galerie Trafic and Galerie Patricia Dorfmann in Paris, Galerie Vis-à-Vis in Metz, CINE de Bussierre (Centre d'Initiation à la Nature et à l'Environnement), and CEAAC - Centre européen d'actions artistiques contemporaines. He has also exhibited in numerous group shows in galleries in France and abroad, including Galerie Valérie Delaunay in Paris, Galerie La Forest Divonne in Brussels and Aeroplastics in Berlin. His work is in the public collections of the Frac Musée Les Abattoirs in Toulouse, the Arthotèque de la ville de Strasbourg, the city of Colmar and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
Benjamin Bianciotto holds a doctorate in art history from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His thesis is entitled "Figures de Satan: l'art contemporain face à ses démons, de 1969 à nos jours". The links between contemporary art and religion and the occult remain at the heart of his preoccupations and research. He is also an independent art critic and curator. Among the exhibitions he has curated are "L'homme gris" at Casino Luxembourg in 2020, and more recently "La Beauté du Diable" at the Frac de Franche-Comté in 2023.
Richard Leydier is an exhibition curator, art critic and former editor-in-chief of Art Press magazine. In this capacity, he has written a large number of monographs on artists as diverse as David Altmejd, Bernhard Martin, Georg Baselitz, Vanessa Beecroft and Ernesto Neto. He is the author of several books on Ronan Barrot, Marc Desgrandchamps, Jean Messagier, Jonathan Meesse and François Rouan, among others.
